When the gasoline engine works, the ECU first calculates the intake volume, then calculates the required gasoline volume according to the intake volume and air-fuel ratio, and then controls the fuel injection nozzle to inject fuel. Therefore, as long as the air intake is controlled, the output power of the engine can be controlled. The accelerator pedal in our car essentially controls the intake of air into the engine.
The throttle is the component on the engine that controls the intake air volume. We can think of it as a faucet, which can be turned up and down. When the air intake is adjusted up, the air intake is large, and when the air intake is adjusted down, the air intake is small. The mechanism that controls the opening of the "faucet" is the accelerator pedal.
The pull throttle is that the accelerator pedal directly drives the throttle to open or close through a steel wire. For example, the above figure is a pull throttle, and the steel wire driving the throttle can be clearly seen.
